This home charging station is capable of outputting 40 Amps of Electrical Current as long as it is plugged into a NEMA 14-50 outlet running at 240V or hardwired to your home’s electrical circuit. It can achieve a charging power of almost 10 kW, but what does that mean exactly?
It means it will take just between 6 to 7 hours to charge a standard Tesla Model 3, while a Tesla Model Y which carries the 75 kWh extended battery pack will take between 9 to 10 hours. If you drive a Hyundai Kona or a Kia Niro you can expect somewhere between 9 to 10 hours in reality and the same would apply to the Ford Mustang Mach E, the standard version.
This electric vehicle charging station comes with an SAE J1772 EV Charging cable that measures 25 feet (7.6 meters). This should have you covered for most distances and should be compatible with most of the electric cars sold in the US because all of them are compatible with the J1772 cable and if they’re not they surely come with an adapter, like Tesla cars do.
One of the best things about it is the smart charger feature consisting of WiFi connectivity and the JuiceNet app which you can find on the App Store and on the Play Store. This tool can show you everything from power, voltage, kWh that were delivered to your car and even how much CO2 you are saving just by using your EV. Of course the most useful function is going to be the ability to set a charging schedule to use off-peak electricity which is much cheaper. Basically you want to charge the car as much as possible during those hours to reduce your energy bill. The app also has some gimmicks like remotely controlling the charger via your voice through either Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant, but that is just a nice bonus.
The JuiceBox is NEMA 4X rated meaning you can leave it out in the rain and in the sun and it will survive. You can equivalate this kind of rating to the IP66 standard. Every one of these 40 Amp Juicebox chargers comes with a 3-Year Limited Warranty.

The J1772 charge cable that stretches out from this electric vehicle charger measures 25 feet (About 7.6 meters) which is on par with the other devices in its price range and should be suitable for most situations. However, if it is not long enough then you can get an extension cord.
This is a WiFi enabled charging adapter just like the Juicebox and the ChargePoint Home Flex. You just download the Wallbox app and then you can schedule charging times, monitor the amount of electric energy that was used while also being able to remotely start or stop the charger. What is indeed an interesting feature is the ability to seamlessly integrate it with the solar panels that you have installed in your home so that it only draws energy from the sun, not from the grid, or you can set a certain balance between the two.
There’s also the power sharing feature that the Enel X also has where you can plug multiple chargers to the same circuit and they will communicate with eachother in order to split the existing circuit.
The enclosure of the Wallbox is IP54 rated which makes it fairly good at resisting water splashes, rain and dust and the unit comes with a 3-Year warranty.
